"I spent a lot of time in Presentation mode last night and loved how easy everything was to generate. Thanks to you guys, the theatre got the drawings and paperwork on time and are currently installing right now. Thanks a lot Dany! You have been a huge help! WYSIWYG is so great, I honestly feel like a rock star whenever I work with it."

David S. Brenchley, WYSIWYG User and Course Developer in Lenovo, USA, is pleased with CAST's technical support, November 2006

"I just wanted to send you a note complimenting the quality of service I've received from Dany. I'm a new WYSIWYG user, with a new console, a deadly combination. Having issues ... I contacted TS and was fortunate enough to engage Dany. He was patient, responsive, and very accurate with his determinations and solutions. Having been employed in TS myself, and now training technicians, I can truly appreciate quality. Your firm benefits having a person of his character and knowledge."

"I just want to thank you & your team at CAST for repairing my show file. This was a huge blessing to me. There was an incredible amount of work hours involved in this show, which has now been restored. Your immediate attention to my need will never be forgotten. You guys are awesome!!!"

Paul Smith, Lighting Designer, Dubai, Praises CAST for the continual development of WYSIWYG, September 2005

"To all of the team at Cast. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the fantastic software that you have created with WYSIWYG. I have been using the software in various incarnations for a number of years now, and with my recent decision to upgrade to Perform Unlimited, I have been inundated with projects. In fact, I have often found that the renders have won me projects on the spot. The tools available within the program have served to increase productivity, time after time. Equipment Lists, Patch Schedules, Weight Loadings, Cost Estimates, Accessory and Colour Calls, all things that I would have previously written as separate Word or Excel Documents are available at the touch of a button and in a tenth of the time."

Lighting Network User, Comments on WYSIWYG Release 14, September 2005

"This is the smoothest running WYG has been ever for me in 5 years so I gotta say : Big thumbs up for Cast and R 14!"

Product Manager Radoslaw Zacheja of PROLIGHT comments on WYSIWYG Release 14, September 2005

"Version no. 14 is amazing. It is a real revolution. Good work!"

Thomas Bernhardt of Light is Magic talks about his recent installation of WYSIWYG Release 14, September 2005

"Hi guys. I just installed the new Release 14, and I have to say: great work!! Keep on going that way..."

Lighting Designer Paul Normandale comments on using WYSIWYG Perform to create new show designs for Keane, The White Stripes, Sigur Ros and Beck. L&SI Online, June 2005

"I use WYSIWYG to establish the basic building blocks of my lighting designs and get clients' feedback from the renderings. With the upgrade to Perform unlimited I can now see exactly how my designs are going to look before I get anywhere near the venue, which is extremely beneficial. It's particularly handy when I'm adding fixtures on the road as shows scale up."

Ted Mather, Lighting Designer - USA - Comments on new Prow structure, Time Warner Center, NY, May 2005

"Out of respect for the neighborhood...we needed to be able to program it from far away but still control it. We stuck a Cisco wireless Ethernet antenna out the window, and programmed it from across Columbus Circle. We did that at night, and fixed things during the day using WYSIWYG. If WYSIWYG did not exist, I don't know how we would have done it."

Bruce Aleksander, Lighting Designer, KTRK-Television ABC/Disney - USA

"I've found no better way to pre-visualize a project than using WYSIWYG. It helps my clients understand what we are trying to create, and there?s no better criterion for successful completion than to compare the rendering with the actual project shots. I also use WYSIWYG to help me scale scenic elements and to help the director find the best camera angles. The fact that it also helps me provide a cohesive lighting plot is only the start of its usefulness in my job."

Gregory M. Pfrommer, Las Vegas - USA

"I don't usually do this but 'THANK YOU' for the mouse scrolling wheel clicking allowing for pan function on the cad mode, which has just been implemented in your latest R10 version. Being a long time AutoCAD geek it WAS frustrating to have to use the arrow keys to pan around the drawing."

Ken Jones, Second Sight, New York - USA

"In October we are doing a huge Canon exhibit show and we are planning on using WYSIWYG for all of it. It's a massive project with very little time so we are really thrilled to be able to use this incredible technology to help us achieve our goals."

Bonita Lessmann, Regional Sales Mgr/Phoebus, CA - USA

"Thank you so much for sharing this information. I went to the website and clicked on Release Notes and see that we are in good company. This is quite a job for you, constantly updating the software with a plethora of new products.

Your industry service has been outstanding. I was impressed with how quickly you responded to my initial inquiry and now that this new release is available I am impressed with your efficiency and thorough attention. If there is anything I can do for you in return, please do not hesitate to contact me."

Steve Dubay, Lighting Designer - Stageworks Lighting, North Carolina - USA

"Since 1992 I have used the following software to work on lighting designs: Lightwrite(since 2.0), AutoCAD (since R12), Vectorworks & Spotlight (since R7) and I have used 3D-Studio(since 4.0), Poser(since 3.0), and the full suite of Adobe products to produce renderings for projects. WYSIWYG has replaced all of those with a single software suite that I can generate all of my design work from early project renderings through the final paperwork on site.

I think the Render Wizard is the easiest way to generate realistic light renderings. What would normally take me several weeks of late nights working with all the software tools mentioned [before], I can now, in a matter of a few hours, crank out renderings that are an honest representations of what the show is going to look like. Renderings sell shows to Lay people."

Brian Messina, Lighting Design Student at North Carliona School of the Arts - USA

"Hi My Name Is Brian Messina and I am presently a second year lighting designer at the North Carliona School of the Arts. I love the Concept of the Perform Program. You guys are amazing and what you will think of next I can't even dream of. Your company feels like the NASA of the industry. I have seen demos of your programs and my jaw is always on the floor. Thank you so much."

Dave Hill, Lighting Designer - Entec lights Australian Pink Floyd - Feb 2004

"Entec's WYSIWYG suite played a major role in getting the show conceptualized, designed, visualized and programmed. Dave Hill spent seven days in there, and then had one over-night 'real-time' programming session in Cardiff arena, the night before the show. After the load-out, it was straight to the US to start the tour there with exactly the same rig. "I Could not have done it without Entec's WYSIWYG facilities " states Hill, "Normally I would have a week or 10 days of production rehearsals with the full lighting system to produce a show like this."

Tony Hansen, Techni-Lux, Lighting Designer - Florida - USA

"I am the head lighting designer for Techni-Lux in Orlando, FL. We utilize WYSIWYG to help our clients visualize what a finished product will look like weeks or months before their facility is even built. Not only does this provide a "safety blanket" to the customer that they are actually getting what they need, it also provides a solid platform to envision the entire project as a whole entity. There have been many learning experiences for our clients after seeing their concept "in lights". WYSIWYG has been an invaluable tool for not only helping us sell a concept but also in helping the customer realize their overall project. It has been a true sales tool for us. In this day of high speed projects and developments, WYSIWYG is the only way we can stay ahead of the game. Thank you Cast."

Roy Mombourquette, Tour Tech East, Lighting Crew Chief - Canada

"During the pre cueing of the 2004 ECMA's show, which was done at Tour Tech East using a super WYG system, we encountered a discrepancy with the VL3000 spot. The tracking wasn't performing the same in Wysiwyg verses what we were seeing. A quick call to Richard Jones at Cast, and he was able to fix it and then email me the new fix in mere minutes. (Now that's service!)"

J. David Blatt, Professor, Viterbo University - USA

"I am having a great time teaching and learning the WYSIWYG software program.

I also demonstrated your product at the USITT Convention last year in Minneapolis. I was on the show floor with ETC and worked with a couple of Cast people. They were very friendly and helpful in getting the software to my school. Good luck and continued success!"

Jason Hyne, Deftones Lighting Designer

"The WYSIWYG suite is something that all LDs will want in the future. It saves time, it's very informative, and nobody likes to work late when the bar is open!"

Dan Hadlye, Queens of the Stone Lighting Designer

"It's an excellent way to do a festival. The best I've seen yet."

Mike Zielinski, Counting Crow's Lighting Designer

"WYSIWYG is worth its weight in gold on a festival site."
